Who We Are

Welcome to the White Lake Community Library!

Located near the intersection of White Lake Drive and Mears Avenue in Whitehall, Michigan, the library issues free library cards to all residents living within the boundaries of Whitehall District Schools.  Library cards are available for a small fee to those living outside the district.

The library holds more than 47,000 items on its shelves, plus more than 1,000,000 digital items available to download or stream.  Through the library's shared catalog, nearly 4 million items are available at 41 Lakeland Library Cooperative member libraries. We also provide a robust Library of Things, loaning items such as hotpsots and laptops, video games, tools, STEAM kits, and even seeds.

In addition to circulating items, the library also provides a variety of other services.  Many people each day visit the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the library’s high-speed connection, enjoy free Wi-Fi service, or take part in one of the library’s many events for children and adults.

Our friendly and professional staff is eager to serve you - stop in anytime!
